Coffee is really good here. Also had the brownies which were pretty good. The shop staff are super friendly as well. Free seating if you’re having your coffee in house, but there’re enough seats to go around.
A neat looking 3rd wave roastery in one of the oldest, gentrifying neighbourhoods. Ambience is clean, neat and inviting despite having a working roastery connected to the retail front.
Staff is friendly and approachable. Service was informative and prompt. We were provided with a glass of water for our coffee. Price is slightly higher middle range.
Unfortunately, despite ordering the darker roast, my iced cappuccino tasted so diluted I could barely taste any coffee. I cannot tell for sure if it was too much milk or too much ice but i believe it's the latter.
Because of this, I cannot recommend this place - certainly not their iced drinks. Maybe I will drop by again to try their hot coffee.
I was recommended this place by my sister and boy was I not disappointed. My dad loves their lattes, so I made my way there today, despite it raining cats and dogs.
Verdict:
The barista on duty offered a choice of "Nutty" or "Fruity" grounds. I went with nutty as i'm nuts over coffee. What I love about their latte is that there's absolutely no sour aftertaste upon drinking it. Its smoothness and creaminess are pretty much unmatched by other espresso joints I've tried in Singapore so far.
Taking their recommendation on board, the next i'm back, i'll be trying their "Dirty".
Cheers.
Ordered takeaway for latte and mocha. Latte was silky smooth and mocha was "not too sweet". Perfect. Bought beans to try as I read many good reviews about it. Service was very friendly.
My favourite coffee roaster in Singapore! These guys know their stuff- the beans are really special and interesting, I’ve gifted bags of the beans to friends overseas who all really enjoy the coffee as well.
The flat whites and the dirty at the cafe are both excellent. Really nice spot to chill at in a residential hdb neighborhood. Highly recommend!
You can smell the coffee aroma as you walk towards the shop!
My sis had Old Joe ice latte - so creamy and super nutty, and I had Elixir 6 hot black - fruity notes of jackfruit and acidity of pomegranate. They’re both very enjoyable!
You will find really nice and friendly people there serving you coffee :) I was also super lucky to get to try their milk pudding, it’s something they plan to serve soon. I totally love the texture of the pudding and the secret syrup (not sure if I should reveal what it is here I feel like it’s a spoiler). I think I can relate the milk pudding to coffee tasting such as the body not too heavy and not too light it’s just nice and perfect, and a balanced flavour of sweet and sour, so stay tuned for it!
I love the variety of coffee they serve and the chill vibe. I was there last Tuesday and was informed about their plan to reno the place. I am definitely going to visit this one again in my next trip! (It’s a shame I don’t have the photo of the milk pudding! I shall get it next time.)
Beautiful cafe nestled at Bukit Merah. They roast their own beans. Ordered the flat white, piccolo and iced white. It’s taste nutty, smooth and balanced. Good if they can use bigger ice cubes that doesn’t melt so fast.
Absolutely fantastic place, hole in the wall and super down to earth place. Their coffee is one of the best in Singapore I reckon - can really tell that these guys love their craft. Flavor profile from the coffee was great too - can really tell the difference from the beans used. Would definitely recommend if you love coffee!
